Hospital Auxiliary Awards Six Thousand Dollars in College Scholarships to Local Women

On June 11th, the DeKalb Memorial Hospital Fundraising Guild, otherwise known as the Hospital Auxiliary, awarded six $1,000 scholarships to DeKalb County returning students currently enrolled in healthcare related degree programs. “We are excited to announce we have awarded six scholarships this year, the most we have ever given, ” said Sharon Farmer, scholarship committee chair. “We would like to thank the community for their continued support of the Serendipity hospital gift shop in Auburn, and the Curiosity Shop in Garrett, where the proceeds raised help support DeKalb Health and this scholarship initiative.”
