Posted: Monday, January 29, 2018

Thinking about starting a new wellness program can seem daunting, oftentimes, we avoid it altogether or fizzle out after a few weeks. Sound familiar? If so, this program is for you.

DeKalb Health is partnering with Pro-Active Spine and Joint and the YMCA of DeKalb County to provide support, guidance and endurance to launch a culture of health and wellness through a five month program called Commit to Be Fit. Participants will be engaged and challenged with sustainable exercise and nutrition guidance, customized by age, health and fitness level.

The goal is focus beyond disease and treatment, but help improve community health, awareness, and wellness by embracing a proactive approach to living healthy.

Upon program completion, participants will be entered into a drawing. One male and one female participant will be chosen to win up to $500 in cash.*

Commit to Be Fit will launch February 20th and run through June 26th. DeKalb Health’s conference room on the third floor from 6 – 7 pm the last Tuesday of each month. 1314 E. 7th street, Auburn, Indiana.
