Holter Monitoring (Heart)

DeKalb Health Imaging Center offers Holter Monitoring. When a patient experiences chest pain or other concerning cardiac symptoms, Holter monitoring can provide cardiologists real-time data critical to creating a personalized care plan.

Holter monitoring is a basic, noninvasive tool used to record your heart’s electrical activity during your daily routine. The monitor continuously records the patient’s cardiac rhythm for 24 to 48 hours. A report is typically returned to the ordering physician within 24 to 48 hours after the patient’s data is received.

A physician referral is required.

DeKalb Health Imaging Center is located on the second floor of the outpatient services building. Patients should park in Purple Lot A, Enter Door 5.
